Great site, love the collection. I actually have a question, I recently picked up a Fly one sheet and it is the exact same one that you have. I have seen some other versions that had a NSS number on it or said “Version A The Fly 1 Sheet” in the right hand corner but this one does not. I was wondering if you knew for a fact that this one sheet print is an original, it is driving me crazy thinking that it might be a reprint haha.

    Hi Mike,

You have nothing to worry about as both version of the one sheet are legitimate. The one without the NSS number is called the studio version and was printed by 20th Century Fox without the NSS details on there. There are many other posters from the 1980s that are like this, not all of them from Fox. As long as it measures very close to 27″ x 41″ I wouldn’t worry too much.

It’s funny – I’ve been reading your site for a long time (in fact I just bought my Aguirre Japanese B2 after seeing your entry on here!) but I was having exactly the same worries as Mike below that my Fly one sheet was fake because of it just has ‘The Fly 1 Sheet’ and nothing else, I’d been searching the web to try and find out and then gave up, came here just to read and saw this!

Thanks for the great site – it’s awesome and I love visiting.
